CEO / INSTRUCTOR
Andy Valentine
Andy Valentine is the Lead Flight Instructor for Fly Valentine. As a third generation pilot, Andy grew up around planes and always dreamed of flying. Driven to make that dream a reality, Andy completed all his ratings (PPL – MEI) within two years. Now, as an Envoy Pilot and career seeking airline pilot, Andy is motivated to share his knowledge and experience with others. He understands that typical flight school programs don’t equip the majority for success. Andy believes that with appropriate time, care, and attention, anyone who wants to learn to fly can master the foundational principles of safe and confident flight.
Andy is a family man with strong values and a taste for fun. He cares deeply about training up smarter pilots in a comprehensive yet easy-to-digest manner. Your safety and success is his priority. With Fly Valentine, you get to learn your craft and enjoy the process.

OPERATIONS MANAGER
Huntley Valentine
Huntley Valentine is the Operations Manager for Fly Valentine. Huntley was an Army Helicopter Aviator (UH-1 & OH-48) as a Commissioned Officer in the US Army, so he is no stranger to flying! He soloed a fixed wing aircraft in 1988 and holds a Commercial Instrument Rotorcraft Pilot Certification.
In addition to having a passion for flight, Huntley comes to Fly Valentine with extensive administration and operations experience. He spent 29 years in residential home building working for companies such as DR Horton and Taylor Morrison. During that time, he held a variety of roles, including VP of Construction, Construction Area Manager, Director of Purchasing, and Director of Customer Care. Huntley also carries a Georgia Contractor License and is 30-hour OSHA certified.
When he’s not working, Huntley loves spending time with family. He has 3 daughters and 2 grandkids with a third on the way!

FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR
Ryan McFarland
Ryan McFarland is a Certified Flight Instructor for Fly Valentine. He first gained a love for aviation while working in the opera and classical music industry. In 2012, Ryan received the Lou Torres flight scholarship from AOPA and set off on a new trajectory. The scholarship paved the way for him to earn his private pilot’s license. Over the course of the next 8 years, Ryan obtained his instrument rating, commercial certificate, multi-engine rating, and CFI certificate. His training gave him the opportunity to fly for various organizations and pilot different models of aircraft ranging from Piper PA28s to a Cessna CE560+. Currently, Ryan also volunteers as a flight instructor for the Civil Air Patrol’s Fort Worth Senior Squadron at Meacham Airport where he regularly instructs in a Cessna 182/G1000 model.
When Ryan is not flying, he spends time with his wife and son at the skatepark, volunteers at his church as a Texas DPS Licensed Personal Protection Officer, and adds a couple hundred miles on his motorcycle on the weekends.

Flight Instructor
Josh Dalmacio
Josh Dalmacio is a Certified Flight Instructor for Fly Valentine. He found his passion for aviation as a little kid while sitting in his friend’s uncle’s little 2-seater light sport aircraft. In 2011, he enlisted in the Marine Corps as a ground support equipment mechanic who worked at a C-130 squadron in NY. Josh finished his contract in 2017.
A graduate of Farmingdale State College, Josh has a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Administration with a focus on Airport Operations. He moved back to Texas in December of 2020 and started flight training in January of 2021, finishing all of his ratings in a little over a year.
When he’s not flying, Josh enjoys finding the best food in town and spending time with his wife and baby daughter at parks with their two dogs.
